“Lovely clean hotel with an efficient check-in and friendly staff. We arrived early to drop off our bags but our room was already which was a bonus. All areas of the hotel… were spotlessly clean. Bar staff and Dan in particular were great and provided table service. We used the pool facilities which again were spotless.
Room good size with a very comfortable bed which made for a good night’s sleep.A very good variety of breakfast items from cooked and cold to pastries and cereals. Also available as a menu to order from with the likes of eggs Benedict and kippers all included. I had the waffle with fruit which was very nice. Breakfast was busy but staff did seem to cope with allocating seats fairly quickly. Only a few minutes walk from the train station too and around 15 minutes from the centre. Would definitely recommend and we will return for another stay.”

“As we had booked a Club Room, this gave us access to the Club Lounge, during the day there are soft drinks & tea & coffee, biscuits etc, & at night you can have beer or wine or soft drinks, crisps, olives, wraps, sandwiches & there is also a small amount of hot food.
Sally was our hostess & after having read so many fab reviews about her, it was nice to meet her. I can confirm that all the reviews are true, she is fabulous, so friendly & conscientious, making sure everyone is well looked after. An asset to the hotel.

Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice, cereals, fresh juices, croissants & pastries as well as a full buffet of hot food such as bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms etc, and in plentiful supply. Each morning we were greeted by a lovely man who seemed to be in charge, he was very friendly & ensured we were looked after. A gentleman from the restaurant also got me my fried eggs each morning as I can only eat them well done. Again, he couldn’t do enough for the guests, advising the hot food would only be out another 5 minutes as breakfast service was almost finished, thus allowing guests to return to the buffet before it closed.”

“Stayed here for a night when visiting Newcastle for a gig. It’s located behind the train station, close to all shops & bars. We found all the staff to be friendly and welcoming. Amy on reception was great! The rooms were very clean and well-maintained the bed was very comfy. Had a lovely night’s sleep. The spa was good with towels provided. There’s a swimming pool, steam room & jacuzzi.
Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and all hot and fresh. Gin bar was good and great service. Very happy and will definitely stay again in the future.”
